Data Collected via the Website
- Email addresses — Collected through the Kit waitlist form for product updates and beta invitations.
- Anonymous analytics data — Provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website usage and improve the site experience.
Data Collected via the Mobile Application
- Email addresses — Used for user authentication and account identification via Firebase Authentication.
- User progress data — Sounds unlocked, exercise scores, and learning progress stored in Firebase.
- Audio recordings — Temporarily processed in real-time for pronunciation evaluation, then immediately deleted. No audio files are stored.
Purposes of Data Processing
- Website emails — Send product updates and beta invitations to users who signed up via the waitlist form.
- App authentication — Identify and authenticate users in the mobile application.
- App functionality — Track learning progress, provide personalized feedback, and improve the learning experience.
- Service improvement — Analyze usage patterns (anonymized) to improve both the website and application.
Data Retention
Website emails: Retained until users unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link in emails.
App data: Retained as long as the user account is active. Users can delete their account and all associated data at any time through the app settings.
Audio recordings: Processed in real-time and immediately deleted. No audio files are stored.

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

Data Processors
We use the following third-party services to process your data:
- Kit — Email marketing service for managing the website waitlist (double opt-in enabled).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — Website hosting and anonymous analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Firebase (Google LLC) — User authentication, data storage, and app backend services for the mobile application.
- Google Cloud Platform — API hosting and real-time pronunciation evaluation processing for the mobile application.
- Tigris Data Inc. — Audio file storage and streaming for the mobile application.
We do not sell your data to third parties. All processors are bound by data processing agreements and applicable privacy regulations.
